Gloucester City 1 AFC Telford United 2
AFC Telford United continued their unbeaten start to the Skrill Conference North season and made it seven points from three games at Gloucester.
An early goal from Adam Farrell gave them the advantage but an equaliser from Lewis Hogg pegged them back, substitute Sean Clancy with the winner after the break.
The Bucks seized the initiative with just three minutes gone through Farrell, who was brought into the starting line-up at the expense of Andy Owens.
His golden chance came from a lovely lofted ball over the top from Russell Benjamin, Farrell getting ahead of Tom Hamblin to slot the ball under goalkeeper Mike Green one-on-one.
But Gloucester were level with still just 13 minutes on the clock when Hogg was found by Darren Edwards 12 yards out to apply a cool finish from 12 yards for the equaliser.
Tony Gray had the ball in the net for offside from Ryan Young's goal kick on 21 minutes, while the visitors were unlucky not to be leading at the interval.
Farrell's header from Matthew McGinn's cross was drifting into the net but home defender Jack Harris took action to clear off the line.
It was Gloucester who first went closest to a goal after the break after Telford were caught napping by Darren Mullings rolling his free-kick straight to Edwards, Neill Byrne blocking his goalbound shot.
Byrne, like on the opening day at home to Workington, tried an overhead kick which sailed over the bar before Clancy, on for Chris Lever, gave Telford the lead with 15 minutes to go.
Mike Phenix's ball into the box from the right was gobbled up by the onrushing Clancy, who applied a cool finish at the far post from what was point blank range.
Telford could have put the result beyond any doubt in the 87th minute Farrell latched on to a loose ball but Green denied him with a smart save. However, Liam Watson's men held out for the win.
