AFC Telford planning to add one more fresh face

AFC Telford United manager Liam Watson believes he needs to add at least one more 'new face' to his current squad ahead of the new Conference North season.

The Bucks chief is currently running the rule over six trialists during the pre-season campaign having seen all of them on Tuesday night.

Robbie Booth, Martyn Jackson, Amos Kabeya, James O'Neill, Luke Bottomer and Nathan Rooney all got a run-out against Kidderminster Harriers.

While he has not ruled out any of them being kept on for the club's promotion push, Watson is still no closer to offering any a deal for the forthcoming season.

Asked if he was closer to making an offer to any of the trialists following Tuesday's 2-1 defeat, he said: "No. I am not in a rush.

"I still think we need to bring someone in who isn't here, so I will keep on looking at that route and then, once I have done that, I will see what we have got left."
