John Psaras in praise of AFC Telford new-boy Marco Adaggio
Caretaker boss John Psaras says new recruit Marco Adaggio typifies the spirit AFC Telford need in their Blue Square Bet Premier survival battle.
The former Shrewsbury striker made his second debut for the Bucks as a late substitute in Wednesday night's goalless daw with Gatshead. Adaggio, 25, had a loan stint at the New Bucks Head in 2006 while on loan from Salop.
Before signing on non-contract terms he had been training with the club while turning out for Midland Alliance outfit Ellesmere Rangers.
"Marco is a very good trainer who works very hard. He's got the right attitude and we need players like him who we are looking at with the future in mind," said the AFC Telford manager.
Psaras, who was thwarted in his bid to sign ex-Shrews youngster Elliot Turner, is still looking to strengthen his squad.
But he is unable to recall Kris Taylor from Hednesford Town under the terms of the full-back's original loan deal, while striker Nialle Rodney remains out of his plans at the moment.
Midfielder Richard Davies, though, could train next week after three months on the sidelines with a foot problem.
"If his scan (on Tuesday) doesn't show anything he might be available in a week or two," added Psaras.
