AFC Telford 0-2 Macclesfield - match report
AN AMARI Morgan-Smith brace sent AFC Telford to a 2-0 defeat at home to Macclesfield Town.
Dan Preston had twice gone close to giving the Bucks the lead with two headed attempts in the first 20 minutes.
But Macclesfield took the lead when Morgan-Smith's sliced finish squirmed past Bucks goalkeeper Ryan Young.
John Paul Kissock and Matthew Barnes-Homer then both missed the target for the visitors from inviting positions before the break.
But Morgan-Smith doubled the visitors' lead with a neat finish nine minutes after the interval.
Phil Trainer did well to deny Barnes-Homer a shooting chance with 20 minutes remaining but the visitors saw out the rest of the game without any real difficulty.
Telford have now gone 23 league games - half a season - without a win.
