AFC Telford boss targets victory at Kidderminster
AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton today admitted Kidderminster Harriers would would be a "great place" to grab a first league win in more than three-and-a-half months.
The Bucks travel to their fifth-placed opponents tonight aiming to kick-start a move out of the Blue Square Premier relegation zone by registering their first victory in 16 league games.
Sinton is aware that his team will start the match as underdogs against Steve Burr's promotion-chasers, who comfortably defeated them 2-0 on their own patch in November.
But he is looking forward to a second chance at beating Harriers and is hoping his team will be inspired to a memorable victory after showing signs of improvement in recent games.
Telford will go into the match two points adrift of safety but having drawn three – against Hereford United, Luton Town and Alfreton Town – of their last four games.
Sinton said: "It would be a great place to get that elusive win. Kidderminster came here two months ago and I thought they were probably as good a team as we have played this season.
"They passed it really well, used the width of the pitch, got the full-backs forward, we couldn't get the ball but we have got another chance against them and we are fighting for our lives.
