AFC Telford attack is best form of defence to Rose
Defender Jordan Rose believes AFC Telford United's attackers must take some credit for the team's recent defensive improvement.
Saturday's goalless draw at home to Alfreton marked the first time since August that Andy Sinton's side had kept two consecutive clean sheets.
The result came five days after the Bucks' goalless draw at home to promotion contenders Luton Town.
The Bucks remain without a win in their last 15 league games and they are currently two points adrift of safety in the relegation zone.
But Telford earned plaudits for two spiritied performances characterised by a more solid defence and a livelier attack.
Asked what the recent defensive improvement was down to, Rose said: "In my opinion, it has been the fact that we have been more aggressive when we are attacking.
"It makes our job so much easier when we don't have to defend deep in our half."
Meanwhile, Sinton has thanked midfielder Jason Stokes for his contribution to the team in recent weeks.
The former Boston United winger joined the Bucks on non-contract terms earlier this month and helped provide cover.
But he left the club earlier this week, citing the need to be playing regularly.
