Danzelle St Louis Hamilton ready to work hard for place
New AFC Telford goalkeeper Danzelle St Louis Hamilton admits he faces stiff competition to grab the No.1 spot at the New Bucks Head.
But the former Stoke City trainee has learned his trade alongside two of the best and is prepared to work hard and be patient.
St Louis Hamilton, who also counts Darlington among his other clubs, spent two years training with former Denmark international Thomas Sorensen as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina custodian Asmir Begovic during his time at the Britannia Stadium.
St Louis Hamilton, who was expected to be in the squad for Telford's trip to Hyde today, arrived last month on non-contract terms as cover for injured second-choice goalkeeper Joe Collister.
But with Collister set to return to contention in the next week, St Louis Hamilton is aware he faces a big challenge.
"I just need to work as hard as I can to try to get a starting spot or at least get a contract here," he said.
Asked how he had benefitted from his time with Sorensen and Begovic, he said: "I learnt a lot from both of them. They advised me to relax and just enjoy it."
