AFC Telford boss urges his strikers to be ruthless
AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton has urged his attackers to get on the goal trail ahead of tomorrow's trip to Hyde in the Blue Square Bet Premier League.
The Bucks' top scorer Steve Jones will be available again after completing a three-match ban.
Sinton said his return would be important to a side which has now gone six league matches without a win and sits just three points above the relegation zone after 20 games.
But he added it was important that others in the side bolster the goal tally.
When it was suggested that his other attackers needed to step up to the plate in terms of goals, he said: "I couldn't agree more.
"We have missed Steve with his creativity and his guile. He gives us something different.
"But at least against Barrow we created chances. I would be a bit more worried if we hadn't created chances.
"But we have created 10 good chances that on a normal day you would back your strikers or your midfield players to put them in.
"They haven't done that against Barrow. Not on purpose. We do enough finishing and enough forward play in training. But we will keep working as hard as we can and we will try to come through this."
