Andy Sinton issues a plea to new AFC Telford fans in £2 offer
AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton has urged potential newcomers to help 'make a difference' tonight by roaring on the Bucks at home to Barrow.
Students from across the town aged 16-18 will be admitted to the New Bucks Head for just £2 on production of their ID.
And the Telford manager is hopeful the offer, which extends to students at Telford College of Arts and Technology and New College Telford, will help swell the attendance tonight.
The Bucks go into the game chasing their first win home or away in the Blue Square Bet Premier League for almost two months.
The game has also been promoted to 25,000 Telford & Wrekin Flexcard holders, who can also get reduced admission. Sinton said he is mindful the Christmas period can be an expensive time of year but added: "We need as much support as we can get and a filled seat is better than an empty one.
"I'd urge people to come and get behind the boys and give us a bit of vocal support which might make a difference (to the result)."
Following his side's 10-day break from competitive action Sinton has no fresh injury concerns going into the game.
And the team has also been boosted by the return to training of midfielder Jay Smith, who has been sidelined for several weeks with an abductor injury.
