AFC Telford hot-shot Kieron St Aimie has hailed the importance of his midfield colleagues after grabbing his third goal in as many games against Stockport County.

St Aimie has started the season strongly so far and his latest finish followed strikes against Luton Town and Braintree.

But the former Tamworth forward was quick to point out that all of his three goals have come from assists by left-winger Steven Leslie.

And he also praised the deliveries he has received from Luke Hubbins on the opposite wing, who has provided him with further chances.

"I have to give a big hand to the midfield and the wingers because a striker needs service," he said.

"I spend a lot of the games battling with these big 6ft 3in, 6ft4in centre-halves so it is always nice to have that service.

"Steven Leslie has set up every single one of my goals so far so he's been really important.

"And I should have converted two of Luke's chances, so he has a big part to play."
