Danny Whitehead put the visitors into the lead three minutes before half time but Kieron St Aimie levelled 10 minutes after the break.

It looked like Stockport might steal the points after Whitehead restored their lead following a blunder by Ryan Young six minutes later.

But Ryan Valentine's superb header rescued a well-earned point for the Bucks.

Nathan Rooney missed the first chance of real note when he pulled wide from inside the box and Kieron St Aimie then headed just over from Ryan Valentine's inviting left wing cross in an entertaining first half.

At the other end Sam Sheridan should have given the visitors the lead when he was left unmarked in the box, but nodded wide from close range.

But Whitehead succeeded where he had failed just before the break when he drilled home from 10 yards after Telford had failed to clear a dangerous cross.

Telford leveled 10 minutes after the restart when St Aimie tapped home from Leslie's cross after great work from Hubbins.

But Stockport regained the lead when Young allowed a back pass to trickle through his hands allowing Whitehead to score after 61 minutes.

Their lead last barely three minutes though before Valentine nodded home from Leslie's powerful cross.

Rooney almost caught Ian Ormson off his line in stoppage time but his long range effort sailed over leaving both sides with a point.
