The 23-year-old forward man netted from Steven Leslie's pin-point free-kick to take the points in a fiery encounter at Kenilworth Road that saw three men sent off.

Telford endured an early barrage with Jon Shaw and Alex Lawless both coming close but Nathan Rooney reminded the hosts of his ability when his long-range effort forced a stretching save from Mark Tyler.

St Aimie scored the decisive goal three minutes before the break but Shaw should have equalised three minutes after half time.

The forward could only fire straight at Young from inside the box and Stuart Fleetwood also hit the bar in a dramatic finale.

Telford finished the game with nine men while Luton finished with 10 as tempers flared late on.

Dan Preston and Ronnie Henry were both given their marching orders following a fracas in the penalty box and Telford substitute Jake Reid lasted two minutes before he was sent off following an aerial challenge with Lathaniel Rowe-Turner.
