AFC Telford defender Michael Briscoe is aiming to end weeks of frustration by making his Bucks debut against Wolves tomorrow.
The former Kidderminster man was Andy Sinton's second summer signing but is still waiting for his first taste of Bucks action after suffering a broken nose in training earlier this month.
Following a successful operation, Briscoe had been earmarking last Saturday's friendly at home to Chesterfield for his first appearance.
But, after failing to recover in time, he is now eyeing the clash against what is expected to be a young Wolves side.
"I'm hoping I can play tomorrow. I went to the doctors about it last week," he said. "When I had the operation they had to do a double break to set it.
"I'm just biting at the bit to get playing now. As a player you never want to watch games.
"I have been training, I have been keeping myself fit. I'm feeling 100 per cent."
Sinton added it will be a relief to get his new addition onto the pitch with little over a week until the start of the new season.
"Hopefully he will be back tomorrow," he said.
"He hasn't played a minute yet so we are going to have to get him in as soon as we possibly can."
