AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton refused to sugar coat the bitter pill of losing at lowly Kettering, a result that threatens to drag his side back towards the relegation zone.
The Bucks went down 2-1 at Nene Park last night following a disjointed performance against one of the Blue Square Premier's strugglers.
Kettering struck twice in the opening 15 minutes of the second half through Charlie Wyke and Ben Ford to set up the win. Telford did get a late consolation through Chris Sharp but rarely threatened to break Kettering down.

Sinton said: "I'm bitterly disappointed to lose a really big game given both sides' league positions. There was not much in the game first half and for some reason we stayed in the dressing room at half time."
He said: "We made a couple of silly mistakes, someone switches off and doesn't follow in a rebound.
"You're told as a kid, as a forward, as a defender, to follow stuff in at both ends and we, not for the first time this year, haven't done it.
"We concede another poor goal and give ourselves a mountain to climb."
The Telford manager vowed that his side would keep fighting for their Conference Premier status.
He said: "We'll dust ourselves down, we've got to keep battling, we're ready for a fight. What we need now is to close ranks. But I'm disappointed we haven't put points on the board tonight."
And Sinton says he is mystified by his team's poor away form.
Telford have now gone seven months since their last win away from New Bucks Stadium, a one-goal victory over York last August.
He said: "If I knew that I'd do something about it. We're quite attack minded, we've gone close on a couple of games and got points.
"If you look at tonight's game the team I've picked is the best team to unpick Kettering.
"According to the reports we had they were susceptible to pace and the ball in behind them so we went with that tonight but I don't think we caused them many problems."
