AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton takes his buoyant Bucks to Lincoln City tomorrow eyeing a first away win since August.

Telford haven't tasted victory on the road since a 1-0 victory over York City in the second game of the season - a run totalling 14 games.

But a win over Braintree last time out, coupled with facing a Lincoln side who have won just once in their last 10 games, has given genuine belief that the run could finally end - although Sinton knows the Imps will be a tough nut to crack.

"Lincoln are a decent side so it won't be easy," he said.

"I think if you said to Telford fans two years ago that we would be playing away at Lincoln in the Conference and be just a point behind them they would have taken that.

"In an FA Cup game between the two sides a couple of years ago Telford were massive underdogs and now we're going there on a level playing field."

Goalkeeper Ryan Young and defenders Sean Newton and Shane Killock survive from the Telford side beaten 3-1 in November 2009.

Sinton is hoping for a more favourable outcome this time round, despite Telford's travel sickness.

"This is a tough league to play in away from home as we've found out," he said.

"Lincoln haven't been doing as well as they would have liked either and that shows it's a tough league."

The Bucks boss admitted that they may be hampered by being part-time.

"We would love to travel up on a Friday," said Sinton. "But we can't because we've got players working and we haven't got the finances.

"So it's not viable to do that. But we'll go there in good spirits on the back of a good week at training and a good win last weekend."

Only long-term absentee Carl Rogers is missing for the trip - although the midfielder returned to light training this week.
