Boss Andy Sinton believes AFC Telford United's slightly fortuitous victory over Barrow could mark a watershed in their season, declaring: "Maybe the worm has turned."
Telford won 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a controversial goal from substitute Steve Jones, with the visitors protesting that the ball had not crossed the line.
Sinton was quick to admit his side – down to 10 men by that stage – might have been the beneficiaries of a stroke of good fortune, but feels that was long overdue for his Blue Square Bet Premier side.

"People say that luck evens itself out but I'm not so sure that happens – I think bigger clubs get more decisions going for them," said Sinton.
"We maybe got something that's gone in our favour on Saturday but I can probably list six games where things have gone against us – Barrow away springs to mind, where I think both their goals were debatable.
"As a manager, you know that some are going to go for you and some are going to go against you – you just hope there's not too many that go against you that will cost you.
"I think we've had our fair share this season, so if Lady Luck has smiled on us then great.
"And maybe the worm has turned."
The victory saw Telford climb to 17th in the league table and increase the gap between themselves and the four relegation places to five points.
"We were a point above the relegation zone before the game because we've had a poor run," added Sinton.
"We got more solid last week and we've put on three points on Saturday, so hopefully that will give the boys a lift.
"We know we are up against it, but performances like this will stand us in good stead."
Striker Chris Sharp will serve a three-match ban after his dismissal for violent conduct against the Cumbrians, starting with tomorrow's trip to Luton Town.
