Man-of-the-moment Courtney Pitt has urged AFC Telford to use their FA Cup exploits as a launchpad to climb the Blue Square Bet Premier table.
Saturday's 5-0 thumping of Gainsborough in the fourth qualifying round ended a six game winless streak for Andy Sinton's side.
Pitt scored two and made two and is hoping the triumph can prove a turning point in the Bucks fortunes.
"It was good to get a couple of goals but the most important thing was the win for the team," said the former Portsmouth man.
"We hadn't been doing too much wrong in games, but the only thing that builds confidence is wins and hopefully we can push on now."
Of his own display, Pitt –who was brought back in from the cold earlier this month – added: "I can always improve but I'm in the side to create goals and hopefully pop up with a couple myself so it was pleasing."
The Bucks will learn of their FA Cup first round opponents tonight when Gloucester host Chelmsford in their fourth qualifying replay at Cheltenham's Whaddon Road – where Gloucester ground share.
Meanwhile, the Bucks will not be extending the stay of loan ranger Conal Platt. The 24-year-old has returned to Cambridge after a one-month stint at the New Bucks Head.
Platt started just two games and Sinton said: "Conal's a good player but I don't think we saw the best of him or he saw the best of us. We wish him well."
