Ebbsfleet boss says AFC Telford 'bigger than Luton'

Ebbsfleet chief Liam Daish has targeted his side's trip to AFC Telford United tomorrow as crucial to their prospects, insisting: "This is bigger than playing Luton".

Kent side Ebbsfleet drew much admiration for the character they showed in fighting from 2-0 down to force a draw in what was a thrilling midweek contest with Luton, the title favourites.

Michael West was the two goal hero for The Fleet – the highly-rated 20-year-old probably adding a couple of zeros to his potential transfer fee in the process.

But Daish insists that will mean nothing if they cannot back it up with a decent result at the New Bucks Head.
