"He's away on holiday at the minute but the paperwork should be done over the weekend when he gets back and I don't want to announce the name until then.
"I can say that he is an experienced player who has played in the League and the Conference. He should be an exciting signing to add to the firepower we've already got."
Telford are back in training tonight, with several targets joining in the session at RAF Cosford. Sinton is also talking to numerous other targets – though he revealed that he had missed out on one possible deal.
"I thought I had another wide attacking midfield player," he said. "But he informed me while I was sitting on the beach that he had had another offer and he was going to take that – despite him saying before that Telford was where he wanted to play.
"Some you win and some you lose and we move on. I'm now finding that players we spoke to six or seven weeks ago who were giving us ridiculous figures are now coming back on asking what we can offer."
