Boss Andy Sinton has called on the Shropshire public to back AFC Telford United's big exhibition clash with a team of Premier League legends tomorrow.
A Telford United XI made up of current squad members and favourites from the club's past will take on the PFA all-star side at the New Bucks Head (2pm).
A host of big names including Paul Merson, Ray Parlour, Des Walker and Tony Daley have agreed to appear and Sinton - who will also be having a run-out - is eager to see a big crowd.
"We'd like to attract people who haven't been to the ground before," said Sinton.
"It's a great chance to see some of yesterday's heroes and to get players like this playing at the New Bucks Head is great."
"There are a few Telford legends from the past and our current squad will also be involved - though I've told the players that if anyone kicks me I'll get rid of them!
"We hope it could become an annual event at the end of the season if it takes off."
Telford goalkeeper Ryan Young looks set to line-up for the PFA side in a bid to gain some match practice ahead of the Bucks' trip to Hyde in the Blue Square Bet North on Monday evening. Young is available again after serving a four-game ban.
The Telford side tomorrow could also include Congo international Yannick Salem and former Hereford forward Danny Williams, who have both reached verbal agreements to join the club until the end of the season.
"Ryan will play some part tomorrow, whether that be a half or just half an hour," said Sinton.
Former Arsenal, Aston Villa and England star Paul Merson is holding a free question and answer session with fans at 1pm in the Learning Centre at the New Bucks Head before tomorrow's game.
Entry to the game is £8 for adults and £5 for concessions.
