Man United stars at New Bucks Head

Manchester United come to town on Monday when the Premier League giants bring a reserve side to the New Bucks Head to take on Wolves, writes ALEX?JAMES.

A host of stars have lined up for United's second string with defenders Wes Brown and John O'Shea, midfielder Gabriel Obertan and forward Beb all featuring in recent weeks.

The Red Devils face Southampton in the FA Cup today while Wolves host Stoke City tomorrow and are expected to field a young side for Monday night's clash.

Kick-off is 7pm and admission prices are £4 for adults, £1 concessions and free for under-16s and Wolves season ticket holders.

Meanwhile AFC Telford United assistant boss Darren Read believes the interest shown in some of the side's star players proves that the Bucks are doing something right.

Captain Shane Killock has been linked with a move to League One side Colchester United while a number of scouts have watched striker Adam Proudlock.

"I think that just shows how well we are doing," said Read of the interest.

"We don't want to let any of our players go."
