Telford were indebted to keeper Ryan Young for a fine save from former Buck Danny Edwards early in the game, and he went on to make two more important stops.
The visitors moved ahead in first half injury-time, Phil John curling in a superb free-kick from 25 yards.
They finally made the points safe six minutes from time, Alex Meechan sliding home after being set up by Andy Brown.
