Shropshire reach the Junior County final
Shropshire won through to the final of the Junior County Bowls Championship with a semi-final triumph over Staffordshire.
Games were played simultaneously at Telford's Sinclair Club and at Pennfields in Wolverhampton.
Shropshire won by an aggregate score of 68 at home and did superbly to lose by just four away to win by 64 shots overall.
Hayden Lewis won his game 21-7, while Dan Beeston was among the other top performers on the road.
Matthew Farmer, Jodie Rutter and Sophie Massey-Jones all contributed to the win with big home victories.
"I'm absolutely delighted with this result, it was a superb performance from our young players," said Shropshire county president John Coxill.
Shropshire will now face Warwickshire and Worcestershire in the final.
