St Georges reach Midlands bowls final
St Georges are celebrating their first ever appearance in the final of one of Midlands' bowls most prestigious competitions.

They beat Furrows Premier League rivals Meole Brace by 10 in the semi-final of the six-home-six-away Free Press Cup to set up a clash with Cheslyn Hay
St Georges were 12 shot-winners in their home leg and lost by only two chalks at the Shrewsbury venue, where they were grateful to Michael Wainwright fighting back from 18-9 down to defeat Craig Wilson 21-20.
