Boundford the four goal hero in Knighton rout
Newly promoted Knighton Town remain unbeaten in the Ardal North East League thanks to a 5-0 hammering of Lex XI.
The Bryn-Y-Castell men have taken on all comers since their promotion from the Mid Wales League - and their latest victory leaves them sitting third in the table behind Cefn Albion and Llanuwchllyn.
They were just a goal in front at half time as former Newtown striker Luke Boundford netted his latest goal - before Kieran doubled the lead just after the break.
The second half was then all about Boundford - as he extended the lead before missing a penalty to secure his hat-trick.
Less than a minute later though and he had secured the matchball - but he wasn't done yet.
Two minutes into stoppage time the experienced striker bagged his fourth and Knighton's fifth to cap off a memorable victory for the home side.
The result means they are one of only two sides who remain unbeaten in the league - with leaders Llanuwchllyn also yet to be beaten.
The Radnorshire side are on the road next week as they visit Corwen - with Llanfair United travelling to second placed Cefn Albion.
