And the left-sided starlet, who has made the meteoric rise from step seven Hednesford Town to Premier League giants Arsenal, revealed how moving out of his parents' home had his mum sobbing. A few months ago the 20-year-old was playing in the eighth tier of English football for Drayton – who took him from Newcastle Town where he couldn't get a game.

But the star – whose is believed to have cost the Gunners in the region of £40,000 – has enjoyed a phenomenal rise and is ready to pen a two-and-a-half year deal.

Bramall, who used to sprint for Crewe & Nantwich Athletics Club, has already moved out of his family home to settle in the capital.

"I've already moved out and my mum was in tears," said Arsene Wenger's latest capture.

"My family and mates have been speechless. I've been on the phone to my sister and she's crying her eyes out because she can't believe it.

"Liam McDonald, who was the Hednesford manager – what a guy. He brought me in from Market Drayton to Hednesford, if he didn't do that things would be a lot different."

Bramall, who recently lost a job working at a Bentley factory in Crewe, was spotted by Arsenal scout and former Reading and Leeds boss Brian McDermott at a trial match. He had also interested Shrewsbury.
