AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton believes his side are perfectly poised to mount a Blue Square Bet North title charge after grinding out a hard-fought win over Guiseley.
Phil Trainer's late winner in a performance the Telford chief hailed as his side's best yet means the Bucks head into December just two points off top spot.
And the Bucks boss believes the winter resilience will play a key part in Telford's promotion push.
"A win is a win," he said, "I think sometimes we were guilty of spoiling people in that first three weeks of the season when we won 5-0, 5-0 and 4-1.
"But teams are beginning to work us out and there are 11 people trying to stop the way we want to play and changing their shapes and personnel to stop us playing. We are going well and we are getting the results. December is a key month because you get a few of games in the space of a week and all of a sudden you can get nine points and that can make a big difference.
"We're just going about our business; we haven't got a crystal ball.
"We want to get out of this league and we will just try and get three points to what we think will be the end of season total to get out of this league."
Meanwhile, Sinton was left nursing an increasing injury list after Adam Proudlock, James Lawrie and Jon Adams all limped off injured during Saturday's win.
The Bucks boss added: "Adam's got a knock on his ribs. We'll have to monitor it closely. Andy Brown is on his way back. He hasn't trained for eight weeks but we're going to step his training up and Jon Adams has a slight thigh problem."
