A goal from Adam Proudlock was enough to secure victory for AFC Telford United against struggling Workington.
The former Wolves ace struck on 56 minutes to settle what was a hard-fought contest on a cold night at the New Bucks Head.
Workington, who have now lost six in a row, had their chances too - Ryan Young saving off Lee Andrews' early header to deny them the lead.
But the Bucks might also have won more comfortably, Greg Mills hitting the bar just two minutes after the deadlock was broken.
