Boss Andy Sinton has hailed the growing impact of AFC Telford United's man of the moment Adam Proudlock.
The former Wolves striker has scored four goals in the last two games, netting twice in Saturday's 4-2 defeat at home to Solihull then repeating the trick in Monday's 4-2 win at Droylsden.
Proudlock, 29, could even have added to that impressive tally, seeing an injury-time penalty against Solihull saved then twice spurning good chances against the Bloods.
The Newport-based star has been working towards full fitness ever since signing for Telford earlier in the season.
And delighted chief Sinton believes he is only now starting to show the rest of the Blue Square Bet North what he can really do.
"You'd have put whatever money you've got saved on one or two of the chances that he had at Droylsden," said Sinton. "But he's been superb in the last few weeks.
"It's all there for people to see that he's getting better and better and stronger and stronger. He will score goals at this level and he could have had a hat-trick in both of the last two games."
Telford are without a game this Saturday after scheduled opponents Ilkeston went out of business.
But the break could prove well-timed for Telford, with Proudlock being one of three players to pick up niggles during Monday's win.
The in-form striker was struggling with a hip problem by the time he was substituted late on, while left-back Sean Newton was complaining of a tight calf.
Centre-back Stuart Whitehead was also forced off at half-time with a hamstring injury.
But while the Whitehead could now be sidelined for a couple of weeks, Sinton remains confident that the other two will be fit for the visit of Workington.
