Boss Andy Sinton is urging AFC Telford United to be positive when they head to high-flying Alfreton Town tomorrow, insisting: "We don't fear them."

Alfreton started the season with eight consecutive victories in the Blue Square Bet North and are top.

But they have shown signs of vulnerability in their last couple of home games, losing to Boston and then to Stalybridge in the FA Cup - and Sinton wants the Bucks to go to the Impact Arena in attacking mood.

"I'm looking forward to sending my team out against a team who are reportedly the best in the league - and I sense my players are looking forward to it as much as I am," said Sinton.

"I'll go there with plenty of respect for them but without any fear and I hope that transmits to my players.

"We won't be kamikaze but we will be looking to win - we know what they are all about and we will be ready."

Telford are still reeling from their shock FA Cup exit at the hands of nine-man Buxton in a third qualifying round replay on Tuesday.

But Sinton was delighted by the mood of his squad at training last night and insists they are putting that behind them.

"I was like a boxer who had been put down on the canvas the other night," he said. "I was down but I'm up on my feet now and ready for the next round."

Striker Andy Brown remains a big doubt tomorrow due to the re-occurence of an ankle injury he suffered in Tuesday's cup defeat.

But left-back Sean Newton is back from international duty with the England C team.

Sinton is still waiting to confirm if he has got clearance for non-contract signing Netan Sansara - who also played a game on trial for Grimsby this week.
