Andy Sinton will tonight challenge AFC Telford United to prove they have put their shock FA Cup exit behind them ahead of "the biggest game we've had all season".

The Bucks travel to Blue Square Bet North leaders Alfreton on Saturday, fresh from going out of the Cup on penalties to minnows Buxton on Tuesday.

And boss Sinton insists there is no time to wallow in despair, instead calling for a positive reaction in this evening's training session.

"I'll be having a look at the players tonight and seeing who's feeling a little bit down and despondent or who's really up for it," he said.

"I want to see who is going to roll their sleeves up and is prepared for probably the biggest game we've had all season.

"The carrot is dangling for them to show that they're ready for that game.

"I certainly will be - I've got my beliefs and they won't change, even if I am a little sore at the moment."

Telford remain unbeaten in regular play this season Sinton has concerns about their lack of killer instinct in recent outings.

The Bucks started the campaign with four straight wins but have won just three times in all competitions since then.

"If you look at the last seven games we've drawn five and that's got to change," said Sinton.

"That's why I made a couple of changes on Tuesday, to see if we could freshen it up.

"The lads on the side have to be ready for when they get their chance because if they're not they'll be back on the sidelines again."

Telford also have injury concerns ahead of the trip to Alfreton, strikers Andy Brown and Alex Meechan both picking up fresh knocks in the gruelling cup clash with Buxton.
