The Bucks remain unbeaten after 11 games in all competitions after Saturday's home clash with Worcester finished all square at one-all.
It was their fourth draw in 10 Blue Square Bet North games, and the Telford chief is convinced three of those could have been turned into victories with a little more composure in front of goal.
"We've just got to be a little bit more ruthless and take our chances," said Sinton.
"If you look at the games we've drawn they've all been pretty similar.
"Three of the four have been 'winning draws' - we pummelled Redditch, we pummelled Blyth and, on Saturday, we pummelled Worcester in the second half.
"There's been a big tournament going on in a different sport over the weekend and I could see parallels with the Ryder Cup," he added.
"The Americans were winning on Saturday but there wasn't a lot in it - the difference was that the Americans holed their putts.
"Whether it's golf, whether it's football - when you get your opportunities you have to put them away."
It took a Steve Abbott goal early in the second half to earn Telford a point, ex-Buck Mark Danks having put Worcester ahead from the penalty spot.
Sinton was pleased by the second half showing, though he was at a loss to explain his side's slow start.
"I don't want to be too critical but there's a bit of a pattern emerging," said Sinton.
"In the last couple of weeks we haven't started games particularly well and I don't know why that is.
"It's taken me to get into them at half-time to really get us going.
"That slightly disappoints me - though I can't really be too disappointed because we're unbeaten in 11 games."
