AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton will give several of his squad's fringe players a much-needed run out in tomorrow night's friendly against Chasetown, writes ALEX JAMES.
Sinton plans to field a strong side at the New Bucks Head with Ashley Woolliscroft, Richard Davies, Philip John and Will Richards all expected to start against the Evo-Stik Premier Division side.
There will also be a debut for new Trinidadian signing Josh Johnson while a number of trialists are also likely to feature, but full back Martyn Naylor misses out through injury.
Sinton said: "It's a chance for players to get some minutes under their belt.
"The game is all about playing time and keeping everybody fit and fresh because football has a funny habit of handing you a chance when you least expect it.
"We had a similar game with Burton Albion last week and it was a good test and our players acquitted themselves well so we'll be looking for more of the same."
Kick off is 7.30pm with admission £2.50 for adults and £1 for concessions.
Telford's youth side overcame Sutton Coldfield Town 3-1 in the FA Youth Cup preliminary round last night with goals from Leon Blake, Ross Bentley and Daniel Mansell sending the young Bucks into the next round.
