Wayne Hennessey today targeted winning his Wolves place back after signing his five-year deal.
It was revealed yesterday the Wales international's new deal to 2015 would take him up to a decade at Molineux.
Hennessey had been linked with a move away after losing his place to Marcus Hahnemann and Liverpool were reported to have made a £2m approach, which was denied by Wolves.
But the 23-year-old said Molineux is where he wants to be as he targets winning back the No 1 spot he lost last November.
"If I wasn't happy I wouldn't be signing here and I'm delighted to have committed my future here," said Hennessey.
"I've been here a long time and Wolves is certainly a special club to me.
"Bobby Mimms was a key man in my development and it was sad when he left but Pat Mountain has done a great job.
"It's a big season for all of us and I'm hoping to play a part in it."
