Fishes handed home EDF tie

Newport will host Maidenhead in the fourth round of the EDF Energy Intermediate Cup.

The Fishes, semi-finalists last year, will take on the South West Two (East) outfit on Saturday, January 17 at Forton Road.

Maidenhead are second in their league, behind leaders Reading on points difference having lost just once so far this term.

A win would put Newport three wins from a final at Twickenham.
