Winger Stephen Ward revealed the secret behind Wolves' much-improved display at Carrow Road - watching a DVD compilation of some of their best moments of the season. The Molineux men posted a much better performance in the 1-1 draw with Norwich, and it was a reminder from the coaches that helped prompt it.
"It's been hard in recent weeks without results going our way," Ward admitted.
"A lot of player's confidence goes - little mistakes have been costing us and individual performances haven't been as good as they should be," he said.
"But after the Hull game we had a meeting and sat and watched the game. A few things were said to us.
"But on the morning of the Norwich game we were shown a compilation of some of our better moments and told - we need to get back to that, getting in people's faces.
"We trained hard after the Hull game and I think a lot of people had a look at themselves and realised that they hadn't been good enough. We let ourselves down and we let the fans down too.
"We know what is expected of us when we cross the line and it is important that we maintain it and don't let it drop.
"We've got to build on this now and get back to the way we were last season. If you work hard and try to close people down then even if you're not playing well you might get the breaks because you're doing a good job."
Ward felt it was a return to the "basics" that served them so well last season that inspired the Carrow Road display.
"The performance was much, much better from us," he said.
"After the way we played on Boxing Day I was pleased to come here and give a really good account of ourselves. We did the things we know we can do - getting in people's faces and not giving them time on the ball.
"I thought we were the better team pretty the whole way through."
