But the club with the most to celebrate today, given the horrific fire that hit them last weekend, is Bylet.

They hammered fellow strugglers Donnington Wood 12-2 to pull eight points ahead of Newport at the bottom of the table.

In-form Sir John Bayley scored a super 9-5 win at Childs Ercall while Archibald Worthington's good run continued 12-2 against Wrockwardine.
