St Georges kept up their momentum with a 10-4 win at Donnington while Ifton won 9-5 at Newport to go third.

Chester Road, Wrockwardine Wood and Castlefields all opened their wins account with 10-4 home wins against Meole Brace, Bayley and Wem respectively.

Archibald also opened theirs for the season with a 9-5 at home to Ford.
