MV Agusta has released a machine that pays tribute to the Italian superbike creator’s relationship with America – the Brutale 800 America.

Limited to just 50 units, the bike features a star-studded motif on the fuel tank similar to the one on the 1973 MC Agusta 750S.

The side radiator panel also features an ‘America Special Edition’ logo, while the bike’s seat has been specially designed to incorporate the livery theme.

A sequential production number has been etched on to the triple clamp of every motorbike, signifying its authenticity.

The Brutale 800 America is based on the standard Brutale 800

The America uses the same basic platform as the standard Brutale 800, and as such is powered by a three-cylinder engine that produces 116bhp.

It uses a single-sided swingarm with an adjustable rear monoshock and gets an upside-down adjustable 43mm front fork and racing-type front calipers as well.

It also features eight-level traction control, giving riders better flexibility in terms of traction options.

The Brutale 800 America is due to be officially unveiled at Laguna Seca, California, tomorrow at the start of the eighth round of the World Superbike Championship.
