Thrills without spills at Loton Park
Over 30 enthusiasts attended a 'Drivers' School' held at Shropshire's premier motorsport venue at Loton Park Speed Hill Climb, near Shrewsbury.

Organised by Hagley Car Club, the day-long experience gave drivers a chance to use their everyday road cars to tackle the tight and demanding track which runs through the deer park of Sir Michael Leighton's stately home at Alberbury.
One driver taking part was Shrewsbury businessman Roger Boyle, who proclaimed the event a great success and commented: "Having been a spectator at hill climb events on many occasions I was keen to find out just what skills were needed to complete this very technical course and using my BMW Z3 sports car I had plenty of opportunity to find out.
"Under the watchful eyes and constant advice of qualified instructors we had several runs up the track with our cornering, braking and approach lines under video surveillance, which all added to the fun during the de-briefing sessions when some people realised that they were possibly not as accomplished as they first thought!
