Demolition of Wellington's Clifton Cinema building starts after 11 years empty
Work has started to demolish Wellington's historic former Clifton Cinema, which has stood empty for 11 years.
The Clifton opened in the 1930s and showed its last film in 1987.
It was was later re-purposed as a shop before closing in 2012.
