Stephen Handley spotted around 60 geese and goslings on the new bypass between Oakengates and Hadley, when he was travelling to drop his daughter back home on Sunday.
He said: "I took my daughter back home and I always go that way around - it's the Hadley Road, the new bypass from Oakengates to Hadley.

"I turned left to go out the bridge and there was a car flashing me so I thought there was something wrong, so I slowed down and I see all these geese – absolutely loads of them.
