Fire crew scrambled to Donnington bin blaze

A fire crew was scrambled to put out a bin blaze in Donnington.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service sent a crew from Wellington to Highlander Drive, in Donnington after receiving an emergency call at 5.50pm on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the fire service said it was a small fire involving rubbish and the firefighters used one hose reel water jet to put the blaze out.

The crew's message to say the danger was over was received by fire HQ at 6.02pm.
