Fake council worker warning
Telford & Wrekin Council has warned residents to be cautious of door-to-door traders after it received reports that people are posing as its own officers.

The authority said he had received reports that people claiming to be council officers have been offering to replace boilers with a free council-funded scheme. It is thought the practice is a scam.
It has asked residents concerned about doorstep callers or worried about vulnerable neighbours to contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.
