Road closed as police called to woman on bridge in Telford
A busy road in Telford was closed this afternoon when police responded to concerns about a woman on a bridge.
Police were called to a bridge on Whitchurch Drive, near to Princess Royal Hospital.
West Mercia Police said the woman had been brought to safety and the road was closed for a short time.
The closure was in force between the Haybridge Island and the island by the hospital.
