Woman rescued after falling on Shropshire hill

A woman was rescued after she fell and injured her ankle on a hill near Church Stretton.

West Midlands Ambulance Service and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Ragleth Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

Two fire appliances, including the all-terrain Pinzgauer vehicle, used to access harder to reach areas, were mobilised from Church Stretton.

It is understood that the woman was rescued safely at around 6pm.
