Crews called to boar stuck in farm machinery

Boar-n Free - a male pig got stuck in an automatic feeder, sparking a plea to emergency services for help.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service's specialist animal rescue team, based in Wellington, along with the local firefighters from Bishop's Castle, were alerted after a call saying the boar had become stuck in animal feeding machinery.

The alarm was raised at 9.25pm on Monday.

However, when crews arrived they found that the animal had managed to release himself.
