The proposal has been submitted to Shropshire Council's planning department to turn the former salon into offices for Smart Marketing and Media Ltd.

They have traded in Shrewsbury for the last 15 years and are looking to 'invest in a property within the town and continue to support the local economy'.

The company supplies hospitality products and supplies, restaurant, bar, table top presentation, hotel guest room, venue marketing and promotional items. In addition they supply of back of house equipment, kitchen equipment, cleaning and disposables and furniture.

Based at Upton Magna, the business stocks over 60 brands and products from some of the biggest names in the industry.
