Shrewsbury villagers plan country walk
Villagers living near Shrewsbury will be taking part in the seventh annual Bomere Heath Dash and Dawdle.

The five mile event starts from the Red Lion pub car park at 11am on May 21 and makes its way through the lanes and countryside surrounding the village.
The walk is followed by a barbecue at the Red Lion and the entry fee includes a route plan, halfway cake and drink and a free hot dog back at the pub.
Entry costs £12 for a family ticket of up to four people, £5 for adults, £4 for senior citizens and £2 for the under 16s.
