Artist holds exhibition at prominent gallery
A Liverpool-born artist has just opened an exhibition at Shrewsbury's Bear Steps Gallery.
Carl Ansloos is showcasing his figurative paintings at the gallery in an exhibition which was officially opened by the Mayor of Shrewsbury, Councillor Ioan Jones.
Carl has recently returned from living and painting in Spain and now paints from his studio in Mid Wales.
His paintings reflect the colour and splendour of the orange grove regions of Valencia and his aim is to inspire the viewer to see the beauty in the world.
Carl is a predominantly self-taught artist who has exhibited worldwide. His work is held in many private collections.
The exhibition runs until March 25. Opening times for the gallery are 10am until 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
